About the Position

As an instructor in the agricultural program, you will assist our teachers in agriculture, forestry, and equestrian studies with practical tasks related to the operations. You will become an important part of our organization and work closely with both students and teachers, contributing to creating a safe and educational environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that the teaching functions in our practical environments and that everything is in good condition. With us, you will collaborate with colleagues and build strong contacts within the forestry and agriculture sector, making you an important link between the school and the labor market.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintenance and minor repairs of machinery and equipment
• Work with harvesting and care of crops
• Handle vehicles and fuels in a safe and structured manner
• Ensure the maintenance of facilities and practical environments
• Collaborate with industry councils and APL placements to create good conditions for students' internships

About the Workplace

You will belong to the agricultural program at Karolinska Gymnasium and be stationed at the Kvinnersta area. You are also connected to GAF's janitorial organization.

Karolinska Gymnasium is part of the Gymnasium and Labor Market Administration. Here, 1400 employees work in various roles to provide youth and adults in Örebro the same opportunities for education and self-sufficiency.

The administration includes upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school, national gymnasium for the deaf and hard of hearing, municipal adult education and Swedish for immigrants, municipal labor market initiatives, social assistance, Örebro partnerships, and land surveying.

• Completed upper secondary education
• Certificate for hot work
• Tractor driving license

• Lift training
• Competence for scaffolding work
